About this address
For many years this web address belonged to a school robotics competition in New Zealand. Volunteers used it to share news with teachers and students across the country. That website closed in 2025, and the address later became available.
Until 2025 this address hosted the website of a New Zealand school robotics competition. This site is independent: it is not that competition, its organisers or the international RoboCup organisation, and it does not run events or take entries.
We did not inherit anything from the old website: no text, rules, results, photos, downloads, contact lists or forum posts. None of that material is reproduced here, and old links that pointed at it now land on the nearest topic page or on this one.
School robotics competitions are run by their own organisers. If you are looking for a particular competition, search for it by name and use the details the organisers publish themselves. We cannot answer questions about any event, and we do not take entries, registrations or payments for anything.
What this site is
Junior Robotics Notes is an independent set of articles about classroom and club robotics in New Zealand. The notes explain kits, sensors, coding and how competitions generally work, written for teachers, parents and students.
